PSI aims to meet the educational needs of those students who have come from, or may be returning to their national educational systems worldwide. The school also serves host country students returning to Ukraine from an English medium school abroad or who seek to continue their education at universities and colleges in Europe or North America.

PSI provides an international curriculum taught in English and is authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3-10, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11-16, and Diploma Programme (DP) for students aged 16-19. All Secondary students enrolled from Grade 9 onwards work toward earning a PSI High School Diploma.

The programmes of study and grade-level student performance objectives have been developed utilizing the best aspects of European, Australian and North American curricula and learning materials designed to both stimulate and challenge students to learn. All students and adults at our school work towards common learning traits based on the IB Learner Profile.

Our three internationally recognized IB programmes provide a quality assurance that all students are prepared for the next stage in their education.

Primary Years Programme (ECU to Grade 5)

The PYP focuses on the total growth of the developing child, addressing social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic welfare. The PYP is a relevant and engaging program that offers a comprehensive, inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning.

Middle Years Programme (Grade 6 to 10)

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills for students aged 11-16 years. The program offers a balance of languages, mathematics, sports, humanities, science, technology and arts disciplines. Students learn to make connections between subjects and explore themes related to key life skills.

Diploma Programme (Grade 11 and 12)

The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is a demanding pre-university course of study that leads to external examinations. It is designed for highly motivated students aged 16 to 19. The programme has earned a reputation for rigorous assessment, giving IB Diploma holders access to the world's leading universities.
