Board of Governors

PSI is a ‘not for profit' organization, governed by a Board of Governors who are elected parents. Members of the Board are guardians of the school's mission and are responsible for its financial planning and long-term strategy.

PSI is a ‘not for profit’ organization governed by a 12-member Board of Governors that meets each month. Members of the Board are guardians of the school’s mission and concentrate on overall strategy and policy direction as a whole. The Board also oversees school finance, establishes policies and programmes for the school and delegates day-to-day administration to the Director and Principals.

Parents at the Annual General Meeting elect the members of the Board. (AGM) Board members serve a three-year term and any parents or guardians may stand as a Board member by nominating themselves or being nominated prior to the AGM. The Ambassador of the U.S. Embassy appoints a U.S. Embassy Official, usually a PSI parent, as a representative on the Board.

Our strategic plan, which will support the development of PSI over the coming years, is at the forefront of the Board’s activities in 2010-11 and beyond. Our current Board of Governors members are
