The Board represents the interests of the parents as a collegial body taking collective decisions for the enhancement, protection and well-being of the School. As such, the Board has full authority and responsibility for all matters connected with the governance of the School. In fulfilling its governing function, the Board establishes such policies and bylaws as may be required for the proper and efficient operation of the School.
The Board delegates certain executive powers in the areas of administration, staff selection, and curriculum implementation to the Director to manage the School according to the Board's policies. As the Board's chief executive officer, the Director is responsible for the administration of the Board’s policies, the execution of its decisions, the efficient operation of the School, and for keeping the Board informed about School operations and problems.
CHRISTELLE CAUDRON,French, member of the Personnel Committee. Christelle has two children in the school and was elected to the Board in 2008.
NATALIE JARESKO Ukrainian, Treasurer has two daughters at PSI. Natalie was elected to the Board in June 2007 and serves as Chair on the Finance & Legal Committee.
YURY SPEKTOROV Ukrainian, has 2 children at PSI. Yury was elected to the Board in June 2007, and serves on the Finance & Legal Committee.
MARTIN RAISER German, Vice Chair to the Board and chair of the Finance & Legal Committee. Martin was elected to the Board in 2008 and has 3 children in the school.
IAN BORDEN, Canadian, has 2 children at PSI and was elected to the Board in June 2009. He serves on the Finance & Legal Committee.
MILES MARTIN, British, Chairperson, has 2 children at PSI and was elected to the Board in June 2009. He also serves on the Policy Committee and the Finance & Legal Committee.
KATIA IWASHKO, Ukrainian, has 2 children at PSI and was elected to the Board in June 2009. She serves on the Personnel Committee.
ROB NEEDHAM, American, has one child at PSI and was elected to the Board in June 2009. He is Chair of the Building Committee and also serves on the Policy Committee.
SVETLANA VOLOSHYNA, Ukrainian, has two children at PSI and was elected to the Board in June 2009. She serves on the Personnel Committee.In addition, as per PSI by-laws, the board includes three ex-officio board members:
STEVEN CALLAND-SCOBLE, British, as the Director of PSI has been appointed as a non-voting member of the board and serves on all board committees.
