In addition to its academic curriculum, PSI offers a comprehensive After School Activities programme for children from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The After School Activities programme aims to provide students with opportunities to cultivate and enrich existing skills as well as explore new areas of interest. Activities run on a four season calendar (September 6 - November 5, November 15 - January 28, February 7 - April 8, April 18 - June 10) and change in order to offer students a variety of choices. Activities include performing arts, arts and crafts, musical pursuits, both indoor and outdoor physical activities, mother tongue enrichment, movement and dance as well as interest clubs. PSI runs a large number of sports teams throughout the school year, they practice and compete in local events and travel regularly for international CEESA tournaments to schools in various European cities. These include boys and girls’ basketball, soccer, cross country, athletics and volleyball. PSI also participates in international Math and Knowledge Bowl competitions through CEESA. There are annual musical and drama productions in both Secondary and Primary as well as senior and junior musical performances during the course of the year. PSI is a member of the International School's Theatre Association (ISTA) and travels each year to drama festivals organised worldwide by this arts education organisation. These activities are valued experiences in the holistic development of the PSI student and all are encouraged to participate. For any further information, please email activitiesk5@psi.kiev.ua (Primary) or activities@psi.kiev.ua (Secondary). You may also download the useful documents in the Useful Links section.
