Community Service

All students in the school participate in and contribute towards the community service programme at PSI.

Demonstrating care and positive action in supporting the needs of vulnerable groups such as children, orphans and the elderly is a central focus of both the academic and extra curricular programmes. Students can actively learn new skills by working with the local and global community in order to improve people’s lives. As a result, they understand the importance of learning beyond the classroom and developing a sense of responsible citizenship. In the MYP and Diploma Programme it is compulsory requirement of the IB and a PSI graduation requirement.

Examples of community service activities in which our students participate include working with orphanages, local charities, kindergartens and elderly homes.
