ISA/ACER Testing News
Students in Grades 3 - 9 will be completing ISA / ACER testing on 4 and 5 February 2019. The Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER) International Schools' Assessment (ISA) is an annual assessment programme that has been specially developed to measure skills in mathematics, reading and writing of students in international schools. The ACER tests are internationally normed, standardised tests that provide teachers and parents with information about their child's academic growth at mid-year. READ MORE
PYP 3.0 - Primary School Parents IB/PYP Information Workshop
A parent information workshop on the IB Primary Years Programme is scheduled for Thursday, 7 February from 14:00 - 16:00 in our grade 5B classroom (B214).
This interactive and informative event is designed to allow you to engage with the developmental curriculum and further develop your understanding of the PYP framework. The workshop will be lead by Mr. Glen Nicholson, deputy principal and PYP coordinator at PSI. Glen is an experienced IB workshop leader who has delivered IB workshops in the Asia Pacific region as well as Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Interested parents are kindly invited to attend this professional development workshop on the IB Primary Years Programme.
Please note: This workshop will be conducted in English. Child supervision is unavailable for this workshop.

Service Project News
This week, students from the Ukraine that Cares team visited a local school and discussed plans for a joint recycling project. The clothing drive items were sorted out and we started delivering them. Thank you for your kind donations. The Kindergarten Building team worked on the structures for the SOS Animal shelter.
The IT Department would like to thank the parent community for all the constructive and positive feedback we received regarding the new format for scheduling the 3 Way Parent Teacher Conferences. We appreciate your insight regarding your experiences. Your feedback has proved invaluable in our ongoing effort to improve the our service to the entire PSI community.
