Congratulations to the High School Girls and Middle School Girls Basketball teams for their efforts at their CEESA Basketball Tournaments. Our High School team finished in second place in Division 1, which is their second trophy in a row after winning Division 2 last year. The Middle School team competed in a tough division but were rewarded with the sportsmanship trophy.

Season 3 Sports started this week. We still have spaces available in all sports, so please sign up or discuss with your PHE Teachers or Mr. Floyd if you are interested

PSI Physical and Health Education

Please visit the PSI PHE Website for all updates and other details each week.

Uniforms - Starting from next week (18th March), students are not allowed to wear old school logo PSI uniforms at PHE / PSPE lessons or Sports Training sessions. If students have misplaced or outgrown their uniforms, they should replace them by purchasing new uniforms. Please contact the uniform manager.

Secondary students also should not be wearing the volleyball or track and field uniforms at PHE lessons as too many uniforms are being left in the change rooms and then go missing.

Our supply of spare PHE / PSPE uniforms for emergency use has almost been finished as students are not returning them to the baskets in change rooms. If anyone has spare uniforms with the correct PSI logo that no longer fit them, please bring them to the PHE Department Office and we will use them.

Semester 2 Swimming - The second unit of swimming will start on 1 April. We will share more details with parents next week, including dates and times for each grade level and class. Swimming medical checks are almost completed and should be done before we start lessons on 1 April. Below is an outline for each grade level stating length of units

EC4 and Kindergarten: 4 weeks starting from 6 May 2019

Grade 1 - Grade 5: 8 weeks total, with 4 weeks per class starting from 1 April 2019

Each class will go one at a time for 4 weeks with the other class working on other units in the gym or Litsey track and then swap over. Grade 2 is a special exception, with one class being split in half, with half the class working with the other 2 classes.

Grade 6 - 10: 6 weeks with boys' and girls' classes separate. The girls' class is the first lesson of the week with the boys taking the second lesson. On the other day each week, students will work on a Track and Field unit at Litsey.
