DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
Dear Students, Parents and Community Members

PSI is very fortunate to be part of the CEESA (Central Eastern European Schools Association), which provides wonderful opportunities to PSI students and staff each year. Just over twenty International School around the region participate annually in sports and academic tournaments as well as staff training opportunities. I am currently in Istanbul attending the Annual CEESA Conference and doing some learning of my own. Next week I look forward to sharing some of that information in the areas of school leadership and information technology.

All PSI families are invited to our special PTA meeting on Tuesday, 22nd March at 6:30 pm in the PSI Cafeteria. Evening PTA meetings are held to enable working parents to attend and become involved. At this meeting we will be discussing the writing of a new PSI Mission Statement. Parents attending will participate in a brainstorming activity as part of the development work.

An important calendar reminder - Friday, 25th March is the Good Friday Holiday at PSI. Happy Easter to those families that are celebrating it. We wish all PSI families a very safe and happy three day weekend.

John Burns
Director, Pechersk School International, Kyiv, Ukraine

Dear Parents,

First, my thanks go to those of you who came out for the Battle of the Bands on Wednesday. It’s always great fun to see students perform, and it was wonderful to see so many parents at this very entertaining event. Please join me in thanking the Arts Department for putting this event together.
